Who we are
Nifty Ducks Travel LLC is a travel-advising business in Lorton, Virginia. Ed Munz is an independent travel advisor of Fora Travel. This policy covers information we receive through Nifty Ducks Travel websites that link to this policy, our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, and direct inquiries to Nifty Ducks Travel.
Information you choose to share
When you contact us or submit an inquiry, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, travel dates, number of travelers, approximate trip budget, preferences, and messages. A phone number is collected only if you choose to provide one through a contact channel that requests it. Please do not send passport numbers, payment-card details, or medical records through social-media lead forms or ordinary email.
How we use inquiry information
We use inquiry information to respond, discuss your priorities, research travel options, and help plan or arrange the travel you request. Submitting an inquiry does not make a booking or subscribe you to an email marketing list. We do not sell your inquiry details.
When information is shared
We share relevant details with Fora Travel and travel suppliers when needed to help with your requested trip. We also use service providers to host the website, handle communications, and measure website and advertising activity. Information may be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security issues, or legal claims. Suppliers and platforms may process information under their own privacy policies.
Facebook and Instagram inquiry forms
When you submit a Meta lead form, Meta sends us the contact details and answers you choose to submit. We use them to follow up about your travel inquiry. Meta also processes information under its own privacy policy. You can review your details before submitting and contact Ed to update them or ask us to stop following up.
Website analytics, advertising, and cookies
Our websites use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement. Selected pages also use an OpenAI advertising pixel or the Meta Pixel. These services can receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, referral information, and interaction events, including clicks on inquiry and contact links. The Meta Pixel on our main website records page views, contact-link clicks, and confirmed inquiry submissions. We do not include names, email addresses, or message contents in these website event payloads, and automatic advanced matching is not enabled. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to measure visits and advertising results. Depending on the provider and your settings, information may also be used to personalize advertising. Website hosting providers may process technical request information to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices
You can browse without submitting an inquiry. You can manage cookies through your browser and advertising preferences through the relevant platform. Blocking cookies does not necessarily prevent all measurement. Learn more about Google’s use of information from partner sites and review OpenAI’s privacy policy. To ask about information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or stop inquiry follow-ups, email ed@niftyduckstravel.com. We will review your request and may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for bookings, accounting, legal obligations, or resolving disputes.
Questionnaires and planning tools
Our secure inquiry and hotel-booking links open services operated by Fora Travel. Social platforms, the Printify shop, and other linked services have their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information. When you choose to submit a cruise or resort questionnaire, your contact details, answers, planning preferences, and suggested matches or brief may be saved in a private database hosted on Cloudflare. Where notifications are configured, a summary is sent to Ed through Resend. Unsent answers and email-draft options are handled as explained in the questionnaire’s own notice. Please read the cruise questionnaire notice or resort questionnaire notice for the details of that tool. This policy supplements those notices.
Retention and security
Retention depends on the purpose of the information and any related trip, business record, or legal requirement. You may contact Ed to ask about a particular record or request deletion. No website, email service, or storage method can guarantee complete security. Please use the secure booking or payment process provided for any sensitive booking information.
Children
Our inquiry services and advertising are intended for adults. An adult planning a family trip may provide the traveler count and broad age ranges when needed. Please do not have children submit social-media lead forms or provide sensitive details about a child through those forms.
